Conservation is one of the main approaches of the Department of Museums to foster unity by uniting the community through the joint care of shared cultural and natural heritage. Towards this end, the Department of Museums, through the Conservation and Restoration Division, is holding an exhibition titled "Conservation Exhibition: Preserved Heritage". Organised in conjunction with the International Museum Day Celebration, the exhibition was launched on 18th May morning at the Brunei Energy Hub Dermaga Diraja, Bandar Seri Begawan.
The launch was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, Member Of The Legislative Council. Efforts to preserve cultural and natural heritage not only maintain identity, but also connect communities and strengthen shared responsibility for future generations. Every effort to preserve artifacts is part of preserving the narrative and history of the nation. The exhibition is open until 30th June from 9 in the morning till 5 in the afternoon.
